Markó Iván táncmûvész, koreográfus. 1972 és 1979 között Béjart brüsszeli társulatában volt szerzõdéses táncos, a Gyõri Balett alapítója és vezetõje 1979-1991 között.
A hátlapon Demcsák Ottó a Gyõri Balett elsõ, A nap szerettei címû bemutatójának egy jelenetében, koreográfus - mûvészeti vezetõ Markó Iván. Demcsák Ottó (1959-) Harangozó Gyula-díjas koreográfus és balettmester, a Gyõri Balett alapító tagja. Az 1979-es õsbemutató a Gyõri Balett alapító évfolyamának balettintézeti vizsgakoncertje volt. Késõbb a koreográfia a Gyõri Balett, majd a Magyar Fesztiválbalett sikerdarabja lett, itthon és külföldön több mint ötszáz alkalommal adták elõ.
